It’s hard to believe that last time I posted a roundup of some favourite photos from the #slowlived Instagram hashtag in March that it’s grown to 27.8k of photos shared. But it has. And it’s been all the more special to me because that although I’ve not really promoted it, people have still used it.

Slow living is still an art that I’m trying to let into my life more. It’s part of it much more than before but I truly believe that it can’t be forced, that it does take time. It requires more effort than one would think, but the effort is part of the process. It’s not the same for me as it is for you, and not the same for you as it is for the next person. It’s different things for different people and it’s benefits are really very much worthy celebrating and savouring.

If you would like to join in simply tag your mellow, slow living inspired images #slowlived. I’ll share a selection of them here and on Instagram once again next week.
