It’s been a few weeks since I shared some favourite images from the #slowlived feed over on Instagram, ironically enough because my life has been anything but slow. I was blown away when I spied there’s been over 2, 200 photos shared to join in now and of course it’s lovely to have more people joining in but boy oh boy does it make picking 9 to share here really tough. I didn’t intentionally set off to pick festive images but these all just gave me such a warm fuzzy festive feeling that I couldn’t help myself!

If you would like to join in simply tag your mellow, slow living inspired images #slowlived. I’ll share a selection of them here once again next week  ♥

  1. It strange how certain photographs impact you. The star in the window taken by @wherestoriesaremade really, really touches me but I have absolutely no idea why. It’s captivating for reasons I can’t explain. I can only think that there’s a deep, dark memory that it’s stirred somewhere in the depths of my mind.

    • I know EXACTLY what you mean Rachel. I’m sure there are subconscious connections to events, places and people ingrained in our memories that are triggered by photographs. I love the simplicity of that photo, sums up how Christmas should be, simple & peaceful x
