Close and caring, wanting to be close and also apart and not always at matching times.
Long walks in the woods, running ahead, exploring, blowing out the cobwebs have always been a love of ours. But more so recently they are becoming essential to a harmonious household. Running off the energy that bubbles over into squabbles if left indoors.
These masks arrived last week from the people at Made.com who have branched out into collections for children aged 6+. These fair trade, hand crafted felt masks have been a big hit here, sparking off some woodland games. They wanted me to chase them. Unable to answer the question ‘Mummy, what eats bunnies and foxes?’ they decided that I needed to be an elephant… flattering ey?
Imagine waving your arm like trunk, hollering your best elephant call whilst your kids are hiding in the trees only to look up to a group of bewildered dog walkers. That.
And of course who could forget World Book Day’s obligatory dressed up photos? Not I!
I am little bit in love with how possessed Ozzy with that sword and Kitty with her recent 7 teeth lost looks like a proper scurvy ridden pirate with a toothless grin!
I’m looking forward to seeing all the Siblings photos this month, hope over to Dear Beautiful Boy to link on up.
Siblings runs every month on the 15th, the linky is open until the end of the month. The linky is the brainchild of Lucy from Dear Beautiful and hosted by 8 bloggers. Each month the 8 bloggers who host send their readers on to visit another host and this month I am sending you over to lovely Keri-Annie to see what atmospheric photos she has to share with us, you’ll be in for a treat as her photography is smashing.
