I caught a lovely intereview on the channel 4 News last week with Jane Bown, famous black and white photographer ahead of a film, Looking for Light: Jane Bown, telling the story of her life and talent.

Jane, who worked as a photographer for the The Observer since 1949, photographed many famous people, all in black and white using natural light. Now 89 years of age, Jane was asked by Jon Snow if had heard of ‘selfies’ and I was secretly delighted that she hadn’t.
You can check out some of Jane Bown’s work over on The Guardian website: http://www.theguardian.com/artanddesign/gallery/2014/mar/30/jane-bown-work-in-pictures
