This isn’t the Nature Seekers that I’d intended to share today. I did have a post lined up from a walk in the ever changing New Forest, but then I spied that my first husband Iain had shared some photos from his recent Scotland visit. A quick email to ask if I could nobble some of his photos and a little Lightroom editing time later saw me with this collection of shots which provoke a sense of calm in me.
It’s not quite the same as being at Ullapool, the ferry to Stornoway and Lewis in person but these do make me long to visit the Highlands and to see these sights for myself.
Nature seeking is even rewarding second-hand – thanks to Iain for the use of his photos.
Some other bloggers have been sharing their Nature Seeking recently that I want to share with you:
About Nature Seekers
The Nature Seekers series is a collection of photos, experiences and words of being outdoors, actively seeking time with nature. It’s a small and focused series and I’d love for anyone who feels passionately about spending time outdoors or who is moved to try it, to get in touch to be featured here. Your photos, words, thoughts, experiences, memories – anything that involves you and nature. This is purely a series about adults and nature, this isn’t about time enjoyed with your child outdoors, this is time enjoyed just by you. It’s a stepping back from a busy lifestyle, from time online and reconnecting with nature, clearing your mindspace and how that enhances your life.
