Last week I shared our new darker living room space with you. It felt a bit strange putting up photos of a room that I've not shared in the five years that I've had this blog but I'm really glad that I did. It's made me think more about our home and specifically colours.
Being married to someone with a completely different set of favourite colours to me can lead to tricky negotiations when it comes to painting walls. Luckily for us choosing soft furnishings and smaller bright and colourful touches for the home is much easier as the chances are there's at least a few colours we both like in most things!
I recently came across Arro Home, an Australian company that sells designer homewares, decor and soft furnishings. Products created by their designers in Melbourne and treasures collected from their travels - all of which are very bright and beautiful.
I love their tagline 'Design for everyday' because for me that's what good design must do, be suitable for the everyday, functional and practical but still make you go a little weak at the knees when you look at it.
To whet your appetite, here's my top picks from Arro Home...
Which of my picks do you like the best? Ozzy thinks the moonshine cushion!
