You know I am sucker for flowers, particularly photographing them, so this week I’ve been experimenting with posterizing photos of flowers and then, using free Windows Paint and my little Wacom tablet, cutting each bloom out. I then copied the cut out onto a new, blank background and saved them all. Then the fun began – putting them on a background using Adobe Illustrator and adding the text.
Just in case you fancy knowing how to posterize your own blooms – images with big full flowers work the best. So I took so photos of flowers:
Uploaded them individually to PicMonkey and Posterized them using the Effect > Posterize tool:
And here’s the download below, don’t worry it’s bigger than it looks, simply right click and select ‘Save Image As’ and print away. It looks best on plain white card!
