It’s that time of the year again, only a bit earlier than usual, bluebells are transforming forest floors into carpets of purple and we’ve been out enjoying them.Bank Holiday Monday, blue skies, t-shirt weather and a forest amble with blankets of bluebells – what’s not to love?
Below I explain how to visit these bluebells, located near to Lyndhurst in the New Forest without having to park in the centre of Lyndhurst and pay for parking.
Please note: This year the bluebells are harder to get to than in previous years at this spot due to the amount of trees that fell in the storms a couple of months ago, sadly this year it’s not possible to get right in amongst these bluebells with a wheelchair or pushchair.
