95. How Does Your Garden Grow?

Happy Birthday to meeeee *hums along to self*

Well this morning I made the most of a day to myself and headed to nearby, previously un-visited, Sir Harold Hillier Gardens, Romsey, accompanied by glorious sunshine. You know how I have been going on relentlessly about being desperate to see blossom? Well...

And the scent from the Nepalese paper plants was awesome, so fragrant. I openly admit to loitering close to them sniffing for an absurdly long amount of time.

The gardens were larger than I imagined, so I'll have to write up a proper post about them over the weekend, but in this post are some of my fave bits. And when I say fave bits I mean 'a shed load of photos of camellia'. But I'm guessing after a Winter of non-colourful photos you are going to forgive me!

I always feel really bad walking over fallen blooms, so I picked some up and made a little pile to one side - imagine my little face beaming away as I took this next photograph...
