Well the sunny and crisp mornings of early Autumn, where the leaves are hues of orange and gold have passed and this week it’s changed to the drizzly wet and cold Autumn where the leaves sit wet on the ground waiting for me to slip and land on my bottom…

I do love Autumn but this week I’ve had to work hard to appreciate the beauty in the rain. There’s been fog and one early morning frost. I could have taken some lovely garden shots on the frosty morning but me being me, thought ‘ah there’ll be another frost tomorrow, II’ll do it then’. Wrong!

And so this week I’m being a bit ‘creative’ with my garden photos and using hots from *ahem* nature’s garden, aka the woods. There’s a huge contrast between the photos in this post that shows just how very different the New Forest looks in differing weather conditions. Oh and I snuck in a couple from grandads garden – just so I don’t feel that I am cheating too much! Promise to resume proper garden photos next week!
