122. Mother's Garden

This weeks HDYGG is coming to you from my sick bed. Ok, so 'sick bed' is somewhat over dramatic, my 'chair of cold' is a more realistic description. I am one to totally milk any situation where I feel poorly for all it's worth so pull up a pew and prepare to join my Pity Party...

Photos this week are from an impromptu 'call in' at my mothers when she was out. I only got a few shots as after a few minutes I decided that wielding a camera and crouching down in someones garden when no one is at home is likely to arouse suspicions with neighbours and although I know I'm a bit badass of late, I thought it best not to attract the wrong kind of attention!

Here the mud bath that is our garden continues to be abused by the building work - only another 5 weeks of the builder in the garden to go... *sigh*

And finally, a sneaky rose shot from Wisley last week. I might be savouring the Autumn colours at the moment but I can't help but long for the Summery pinks!

As always a huge thank you to all who joined in last week, some fave include: Strange trees in Virginia, the start of Fall, the secret door, blue skies and leaves, garden wildlife Miami stylee and the last sunflowers.

I'm on holiday next week but HDYGG will run as usual - I will have some Cornish gardens to share! *happy dances*
