This week I’ve a mix of photos again – some from Exbury Gardens and some from Grandads. Heck I even managed to get a photo of grandad taken at the weekend, I thought showing you a photo of him might give a ‘missing piece’ of his garden picture for you!

The Exbury photos above are all about the blooms, the colour and the showy, the place where people go to point and say ‘ooo’ and make notes. Below the photos of Grandads garden are all about the family, the familiar the place where people go to play and explore.

You may have heard me talking about how the sweetpeas are behind a bit here. Grandads planted ones are only just starting to flower, but these below are in full force, these are ‘wild’ ones, they just appear every year and grow up and across the patio.

I raise my glass to all who joined in last week, some faves include: There aint no party like an Allotment Party, an Explosion of fruit, Purple loveliness, some local Exbury blooms, Purple peas, Wonderful Wisley and a Memorial garden.
