It's April! How did that even happen?!

Rain, sunshine, more rain, sunshine, fog, sunshine. It's been a lot like that here this week. However the brighter weather has drawn me out to the garden, weeding has begun - and believe me I have a LOT of weeds to tackle. There's something really satisfying about returning indoors to wash dirt from your hands isn't there? I've really enjoyed feeling a bit more connected to my own garden this week.

I've also enjoyed heading back to Exbury Gardens for another mooch about. The fab thing about being a 'Friend of Exbury', a nicer way of saying 'bought annual membership' is that I can just pop along for an hour before school ends and have some quiet time - away from the internet and everyone. Oh yes, there's no wifi / mobile signal there, it's a real treat. This weeks photos are all from Tuesday afternoons hour long walk, there's a lot of our old Spring faves like blossom, primroses and daffodils, but that's cool - I'm enjoying Spring and am in no hurry for it to end!

Thanks to all who joined in last week, faves include: the most beautiful blossom photos I've seen this year, the colour-changing hibiscus, goodbye to March, white daffs, evening Camellia and Mother's Day plants.
