This week I have been out, in an actual garden! *fist pumps* As much as looking at flowers indoors has been floating my boat, there’s something calming and joyous about being a nice garden. Notice I used the word ‘nice’ there – that’s because it wasn’t my garden which is now just grass and a barren windy wasteland, awaiting news of when the extension will be happening. No no, this week it’s my mums garden, I got some shots whilst visiting her at the weekend – her garden is looking jolly good – even at this grey and wet time of the year. Here’s what I saw…
I love my mums garden and indeed I love my mum x
And finally I will leave you with this little fella who is a regular in my front garden, a squirrel with a bird complex (in my mind that’s what he is and not some bird egg snatching demon), the quality isn’t great but I was leaning out of a window in stealth mode at the time!
Thanks to all who joined in last week, there was a stunning collection of posts – faves include: a garden audit, gardens in New Zealand, tree indulgence, bootiful butterflies, hazelnuts and a beautiful post on the power of the flower.
