54. How Does Your Garden Grow?
Apologies for the photo fest today - I got a bit carried away with the colours and couldn't choose between them. Honest guv.
Rain, sun, a bit more rain and some wind this week has meant nothing exciting on the garden front - does it not know that I NEED PHOTOS?! Instead my love affair with flowers indoors has blossomed, first with the addition of a hyacinth - which has produced the most beautiful smells throughout the house. It might sound daft but I am convinced that they smell stronger this year.
A trip to my local Waitrose saw me raid the bargain flower bucket and come away with tulips, roses, some unknown flower that I really should know the name of and cut hyacinths for under a tenner. I must have been living in a cave as I've never seen cut hyacinths before, only those growing from bulbs. Flowers everywhere now and I even had to raid my vintage shop stash for a vase. I swear Papasaurus thinks I've gone mad as I keep beaming to myself every time I walk past them. I think that's a good thing!
Thanks to everyone who joined in with last weeks How Does Your Garden Grow? Faves included: Welsh countryside, a bit of the beach, delicate cobwebs, things that are beautiful right now, little muddy fingers, enchantment and the best fun.
