Here it is, the 26th How Does Your Garden Grow? HALF A YEAR HAS PASSED ALREADY! How? Where? Who did that?!
Photos today were taken at a recent jaunt to local Exbury Gardens, more specifically the Sundial Garden. The Sundial Garden is Exbury’s Secret Garden; a magical area filled with exotic plants which flowers right up until the end of Autumn. I fell in love with it last week when I visited the gardens on my own and then once again this week when I visited with my family. Kitty loved looking at all the flowers, whilst Ozzy was rather taken with the grand Wisteria, which I can only image looks beautiful when in full flower *makes mental note for 2014*. The sundial centerpiece is fantastic, and sitting on it, staring along towards the wisteria is just stunning symmetrical bliss, again I can only imagine how it looks in the height of Summer.
Half term is proving to be a holiday to treasure – happy times indeed, getting outdoors with my little family unit at this time of year is always a pleasure. Whether it’s a cold and crisp Autumnal walk or a blow-the-cobwebs-away windy leaning-against-the-wind trek – it’s all good. Even the rain is welcome here – it brings a refill for the puddles.
I do hope you’ve been enjoying your outdoor jaunts and enjoying this week of ‘interesting’ weather. Storm St Jude hit us early Monday morning and blew over my primrose pot, other than that we were unscathed, though my mother-in-law tells me a few oak trees fell in the winds near by!
Thanks to all who joined in last week, faves include: the Romanian entry, the old skool entry, the entry with hard work, the frosty entry and the entry of gifts. We had a couple of late entries last week, so I’ll add them to the start of this weeks linky x
And just because it’s Halloween…
