I’ve a bit of a mixed bag for How Does Your Garden Grow? this week. I recently popped along to local Exbury Gardens to check out the annual Nerine display in the Five Arrows Gallery. I do love Nerines but find taking photos in the gallery very challenging, the yellow artificial light and the glitter added to the petals (which I’m personally not a fan of) make things, how can I put it, flipping hard work. Hence the back and white shots. You may be sat there thinking ‘oh it’s a shame they aren’t in colour’ but honestly it’s not, they look artificial beneath the indoor lighting.
But of course we can’t have a colour-free HDYGG, that just wouldn’t be cricket, so here’s a short, sharp blast of the good stuff to sate your appetites!
As always, a big thank you to everyone who joined in last week, some faves include: Derek Jarman’s Garden, Angie’s Powderpuff Asters, Le Jardin Public de Bayeux, Suzanne’s tour of England and this look back at forgotten gardens remembered.
