I share my photos exclusively on Unsplash.com to help others with their creative projects and work. The Unsplash License meets my wishes, personally. Below you can find answers to some frequently asked questions relating to the license, how you may and may not use the photos as well as how you can support me. Thanks for reading!
My photos can be used for creative projects, blog posts, articles, re-mixes and much more.
The only things that are prohibited from doing with my photos is:
- Re-distributing them, for free or for sale (see The Unsplash License)
- Printing the photos to sell, as prints or on physical goods without first updating, modifying, or otherwise incorporating new creative elements into the photos (see The Unsplash Terms). Please note: Adding a filter, cropping a photo or adding simple text on top is not considered 'incorporating new creative elements'.
For clarification, or more information please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
No, they are not, sorry. I release my photos exclusively on Unsplash under The Unsplash License. The Unsplash License differs from CC0 as it prohibits the re-distribution of photos, meaning you can't re-offer them for download for free, or for sale.
The Unsplash Terms also restrict the sale of all Unsplash photos without first updating, modifying, or otherwise incorporating new creative elements into the photos (i.e., selling unaltered copies of the photos). This includes selling the photos as prints or printed on physical goods. If you want to print my photos to sell, please contact me about purchasing a license.
That's a lovely thought!
IF you would like to donate to support my work, you can do so via PayPal. All donations will be re-channelled back into creating more photos to share on Unsplash and I'll let anyone donating know how their donation has been spent.
I would love to see, you can either drop me an email at email@example.com, tweet me @anniespratt or tag me on Instagram @anneispratt.
I share a selection of my favourites from time to time here on my website. Thank you!
