Forest Photos - Ferns & Heather
Just past Hatchet Pond in an inclosure along the B3055, on the right hand side, is where we love to walk and rides our bikes. The pathway through the inclosure is wide, the forest around it varied. A cooler and overcast afternoon with a few very light showers made this the perfect time to get out for a walk. This is my perfect weather, the state that suits me the most, and following a Sunday roast dinner getting outdoors for some fresh air and Photocise is such a good feeling. Kitty accompanied me on this walk, umbrella in hand.
I would sing 'it's beginning to look a lot like Autumn' but I fear I would be shot by a member of the Summer Fan Club. I am loving the cooler evenings at the moment, the start of the heather, the ferns starting to turn golden. It's a good time to be out enjoying the forest.
Have you enjoyed a good walk recently? Id would love to hear about - or indeed if you have any suggestions of places you think I might enjoy walking.
