This week has been a toughie and I’m not going to pretend otherwise. Papasaurus has been working very hard at work on a ‘big job’ which has meant him working many night shifts and so we’ve not had much quality time together, to add to that it’s been week one of the meal replacement diet that I have started. This has resulted in me being rather emo at times.
Week one of the meal replacement diet is now done and it took a fair bit of getting used to. The first couple of days passed quite easily and apart from my grumblings about the shakes and soup having undertones of spunk in consistency all was good. Day three was the hardest one, I suddenly came over very tired, cold and bored of the meal replacement options. On day four I felt slightly better and come day five I was back to feeling pretty much normal again. Now a week in I feel rather bouncy and I’ve even considered taking back up running.
Side effects so far are: feeling a little colder than usual and peeing lots and lots, but then I guess that if you need to drink 2 litres plus of water a day that that’s an obvious side effect… [Read more...]
