My Boy

My little boy. My Ozzy. Little bundle of mischief. Big sparkling eyes and long floppy hair often results in you being called a girl by strangers. You’ve never eaten in a restaurant when the waitress hasn’t referred to you as a ”little girl’. But we know better…

The inquisitive little fingers that appear to spend half their life in the haven of your nostrils, the snails found in your bedroom – brought in from the garden to play with in your Play-Mobil castle and your new post-peeing catchphrase ‘shakey shakey little snakey’ which you have seemingly invented all on your own…

I love you little fella x

The theme for The Gallery this week is ‘Boys’, although I wanted to add photos of oiled men in tight multicoloured pants I was astounded to discover I only had pictures of the kids on my computer. *makes a mental note to rectify that situation*

  3. Gosh – What stunning photographs – a really beautiful boy. I don’t think for one moment he made up that ‘shakey shakey little snakey’ on his own, though – unless, of course, he’s his mother’s son. Hmmm.

  10. Seeing all these posts reminds me of all the “dimensions” to boys – how could I forget the boogey picking, and the lovely mud lol.

It’s when you’ve done the “thank you HE is lovely isn’t HE” and then they still go on to calling them a girl again.

  18. You’re right, we’ve all gone all mumsy this week, finding photos of our own boys. But oh your boy is gorgeous so who can blame you.
I may have to look through my photos again to see if any oiled men happen to be hidden there.

  19. “Shakey, shakey little snakey” MWHAHA EXCELLENT! What a gorgeous little comic you have x x

  25. I also have one of these floppy haired little boys, but I’m not allowed to cut it. Daddy insists on the bohemian look. Could be something to do with his own lack in the hair department though!

  26. Utterly & completely gorgeous! And not like a girl at all! (Lovin’ shakey shakey too!)

  27. Beautiful little boy! Love the black and white too. My eldest was often mistaken for a girl – both as a toddler and at the age of 10/11! I took it as a compliment, it meant he was beautiful. Although we rectified the situation with a hair cut before he started secondary school!

  28. I have a floppy haired Ozzy and we had the same issues when he was smaller lol!
Although he now replies, “Ugh, I’m not a yucky GIRL!”

    Gorgeous pics!

  29. He is so gorgeous! Definitely going to real hearts when he’s older!!! x x
