First up I apologise for all the Spring quotes! I did one and then got completely carried away and before I knew it I had nearly completely quoted every photo. Keep this on the low rise but I'm not a fan of quotes on images, which makes this post all the more baffling...

This week has been a week of spotting new growth,  the crocuses have opened up as you can see from these photos and in grandads garden the rhubarb is sprouting up once again - I have my fingers crossed for a bumper harvest this year. The final picture is of hundreds of daffodils poking up through the ground, far behind the colour splashes of yellow that Kitty shrieks excitedly 'DAFFODILLLLLLLLLS! LOOK! LOOK!" through the car window at on road side verges. Oh no, grandads daffs are staying tightly closed, but I have made him promise to telephone me as soon as they open.

There's optimism here, optimism that Spring is here, I'm not going to argue with the signs...

Many thanks to everyone who joined in last week, faves include: All the colours of the rainbow, snowman in the road contrasting bright pink azaleas, feeding the birds, pretty pink blossom, lovely light and more butterflies than you can shake a banana at.
