At the weekend I stayed in Gloucester and popped round to see my mother who is in the middle of grand garden changes with a giant hole and footings being laid for a smashing reclaimed Summer House. I took the opportunity to snap some of her gorgeous garden, she's quite the collector of antiquities and bargains, many of which make it into her garden. Kitty and Ozzy love running round it and exploring, under the apple trees, rounds the pots and peering into the fenced flower garden where most plants inside are taller than them. I think it's beautiful and these are only a few photos, I can't wait to show you more in the future. I'm loving the potted areas, something I want to incorporate in my own garden soon.
How's your garden coping in this inbetweeny end-of-Summer-signs-of-Autumn ? I always think of September and school re-starting as the beginning of Autumn but the sun streaming through my window appears to beg to differ.
Many thanks to everyone who joined in over the Summer holidays - I know how busy they can be so it's much appreciated. I'm still loving looking at the pretty photos you share, honestly it's my favourite blogging time of the week. I need to feast my eyes more than ever today as my youngest Ozzy sets off to school for the first time *wipes little tear from eye* , his trousers are size 'age 3' and his shoes are tiny but he's growing and it's time to set him on his way...
