Firstly a big thank you to to Gemma for hosting last week whilst I was off off and away in Rhodes, much appreciated young lady. And talking of Rhodes, that where the photos this week are from, a couple from Lindos and the rest from the Old Town, Rhodes. Obviously a totally different vibe to here, which is all about this this week...

More on the wisteria hysteria here but for now, let's see how some gardens grow in Rhodes!

I've been resisting painting every exterior wall white since returning home. It's not been easy.

Walking through The Old Town, Rhodes, I loved looking along the narrow roads and alleyways. Just like in the towns we visited in Sicily before people with little outside space still make the most of the room they have to grow.

Archaeological Museum of Rhodes (Hospital of the Knights) was a firm favourite of mine from our visit and I'll add a post about that soon and one just about it's little garden as that's awesome too, a really really cool place to visit. Finding a garden and such history and architecture all in one place was a dream.

And finally, it's not garden related, but I thought you might appreciate this little nugget of wisdom...

Thanks to all who joined in over at Gemma's last week, some faves include: Overwhelmed,  kids enjoying the garden here and here, a garden in the heat, the bright colours here and the rhubarb fest.

It's lovely to be back - I missed it all last week. Now, let's see what's going on in the garden you have been in!
