Simply right click on each one, select Save Image As and save to your computer. Upload each one and add them to your sidebar using the the code below the icons.

<a href=”YOUR-SOCIAL-MEDIA-LINK-HERE” target=”_blank”><img src=”ADD-YOUR-SOCIAL-ICON-UPLOADED-IMAGE-URL-HERE” alt=”DESCRIPTION IE. TWITTER” width=”30px-FOR-EXAMPLE“ /></a>
Above is the code to add for each icon to the same text/html sidebar widget. Ammend the bold text only and be sure to leave the quotation marks.
For each icon you will notice that you need to set:
- The url of the social media account you wish the icon to click through to
- The url of the image of the icon that has been uploaded to your blog. (Dashboard > Media > New)
- The ‘alt’ tag – this is a descriptive tag for the icon, ie. for Pinterest icon “Pinterest” and so on.
- Width. You can adjust the size of your icons by changing the value of the width, enabling you to make them bigger or smaller as you wish. As an example below I show you the sizes of 20px, 30px, 40px and 50px icons.
