Ok, maybe ‘ran’ isn’t the right word… I think that ‘power-walked’ is probably more appropriate. Yesterday was Day 1 of Blog it for Babies and stated that if by 4pm the total #BlogitforBabies made reached £300 that I would head into the rather chilly sea. I am chuffed to say the total was reached and so in the wind and rain I headed down to Lepe Beach, Southampton, where I was met by Steph from I’m Counting UFOz and her family who had kindly volunteered to come along to film it.

When we arrived it was apparent that there was a number of cars parked up on the sea front with oldies sat in with their thermos flask enjoying the views of the IOW, little did they know soon a pale woman would take to the sea in just a t-shirt (and yes – I wore pants – it was a ‘family’ occasion so things had to be kept PG, and I’m not sure the etiquette around mingling with bloggers husbands but I didn’t think potentially exposing my vajaja to Stephs husband Ross would be consider acceptable Sunday afternoon behaviour.

And so here you go, as shot by Steph (thank you!) I would like to state that it was ruddy freezing but luckily I already had a cold. I do appear to have lost my voice today but that can only be a good thing for the Rock Choir singing at St. Albans tomozzle…
