This is a call to blogging arms! Grab your laptops, arm your iPads, fire up your imaginations!
From Sunday 29th April to Friday 4th May I am travelling the country bringing together bloggers in fun ways to help fund-raise for Save The Children’s Build it for Babies campaign with a nationwide blogger initiative - Blog it for Babies #BlogitforBabies.
The vision is to bring some fun to fundraising whilst raising awareness, but this is not a case of me this is a case of we. I plan on visiting 2 towns / cities every day for 5 days and whilst there meeting up with groups of local bloggers for some ‘mini-events’.
For example in St. Albans, Actually Mummy plans to host a grand coffee morning/afternoon where local bloggers can come along and enjoy some super cakes, company and coffee (and maybe some of my special tinned favourite) along with the chance to win some prizes in return for donating some money to come along.
And here is where you all come in – I need you to tell me if there are bloggers in your area and if you’d like to help do something fun for this great cause! I know there are bloggers everywhere but I do know there are big pockets of bloggers in London, Reading, Bristol, Birmingham (the lovely Yellow Days is helping with that meet up) and Norwich.
If you are interested in helping arrange a meet-up / mini event in your area please get in touch and we can work together to make something super happen!
I am up for anything – coffee mornings, socialising meals out, sponsored buggy walks, raves, karaoke evening (Typecast I am looking at you for that one!), swimming for miles if anyone has a mega leisure centre near by. Adults only or with your children - anything goes. I’ll even happily sell my services to you – need some ironing done? Veggie patch dug over? I’m your girl!
When I leave one destination for the next one I am happy to be dressed in whatever you want – make me look like a prannet, I have it on good authority that someone will be dressing me as Justin Bieber at one point.
So if you are attending one of the big bloggy conferences this year and feeling nervous that you won’t know a soul this is your chance to meet other bloggers, have fun and also raise money to help babies in Bangladesh.
I shall be looking for sofa’s to lay my head each evening so if you have room – shout!
I shall write more on Monday next week to explain how this will tie in to Save The Childrens Build it for Babies campaign, what specific items that we will be raising money for and details of the Just Giving page that we can all use collectively to add any money raised to.

You would have to leave here after a dip in the hot tub. In a swimming costume and swimming cap I expect.
Can be fairly flexible on when as I am at home. But an evening would be great, can also put you up in our spare room. As long as you promise not to tweet from the loo with the peeling paint on the skirting boards.
